Cardiac Rhythm Specialist

Key Responsibilities- Monitor and record cardiac rhythm patterns of patients requiring telemetry monitoring.
- Document and report abnormal cardiac rhythm patterns, changes in rhythm, and ECG interval measures.
- Maintain the central cardiac monitoring system and its transmitters, including lead placement, battery, and equipment care.
- Assist physicians and nurses with rhythm interpretations and provide support to float nurses.
- Enter admission and transfer strips into the ECG manual.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
- Successful completion of a basic arrhythmia course within 3 months of hire.
