Job Summary

As a Speech Pathologist - Acute Rehab Specialist, you will play a vital role in our mission by providing patient-centered care to individuals with medical and functional disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients in achieving maximum function through a collaborative approach with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation goals and treatment strategies based on evidence-based practice.
  • Provide speech, language, cognition, and dysphagia services in accordance with professional standards and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance the quality and effectiveness of care delivery.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Therapy or related field.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Two to four years of experience as a Speech Therapist, preferably in an acute rehabilitation setting.
