As a Cardiac Rhythm Monitor, you will play a critical role in our mission by utilizing telemetry equipment to monitor cardiac rhythm patterns of patients requiring telemetry monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and record abnormal cardiac rhythm patterns, changes in rhythm, and ECG interval measures.
  • Document cardiac rhythm activity in the clinical computer system and enter printed rhythm strips.
  • Report changes in rhythm to the RN and document information in QCPR.
  • Assist physicians and nurses with rhythm interpretations and enter printed admission and transfer strips in the ECG manual.

Credentials and Education:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to successful completion of orientation.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Successful completion of a basic arrhythmia course within 3 months of hire.
