About the Role

Planned Parenthood of Southern New England is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Development Officer to lead our fundraising efforts and drive growth in support of our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to achieve annual and long-term goals.
  • Lead a dynamic team of development professionals to ensure successful delivery of fundraising goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key donors, stakeholders, and community leaders to advance our mission.
  • Collaborate with the President and CEO to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Develop and manage the development budget, ensuring effective use of resources to achieve fundraising goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices in fundraising and philanthropy, applying knowledge to drive innovation and growth in our development efforts.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in non-profit fundraising, with a proven track record of securing significant philanthropic investments.
  • Experience in team management, with a strong ability to inspire, develop, and mentor development staff.
  • Outstanding cross-cultural communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced professional development training, such as the CFRE, preferred.

  • A competitive salary range of $129,566 - $215,944 per year, based on full years of experience.
