Key Responsibilities

  • Service Staff Development
    • Recruit, train, and develop a team of skilled service advisors and technicians
    • Implement training programs to ensure staff are well-versed in the service process
    • Monitor performance and provide coaching and mentoring to improve productivity and customer satisfaction
  • Customer Engagement
    • Resolve customer requests, questions, and concerns in a professional and friendly manner
    • Inspect repair orders for accuracy and legality
    • Ensure all manufacturer policies and procedures are followed
  • Administrative Functions
    • Manage service department reporting and month-end procedures
    • Hold daily and monthly staff meetings to communicate key information
    • Serve as liaison between the store and support services

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience as a Service Manager in an automotive dealership
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to meet and exceed automotive industry standards
