Job Summary

The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services will provide therapeutic patient and family-centered care in our Home Infusion Suite. This role requires collaboration with the interprofessional team to develop, execute, and evaluate the plan of care. The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services will utilize evidence to drive clinical decisions and practice related to individual and population health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform/direct ACLS
  • Independent rhythm interpretation and defibrillation
  • Administration of advanced lifesaving medications
  • Independent, templated (RN-only) visits for patient assessment, with action taken based on established protocols and/or clinical practice standards
  • Sedation
  • Telemetry monitoring & interpretation/management of rhythm changes
  • Assisting with complex procedures
  • Advanced wound therapy (VACs, debridement, etc.)
  • Central line management (TPA administration) and maintenance
  • Device interrogation and interpretation with resultant action
  • Complex infusions (concurrent infusions, hazardous medication administration, blood and blood products, etc.)
Requirements
  • Clinical experience and/or interest in the care and management of patient populations specific to the area of employment
  • At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred
  • Nursing licensure required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
  • Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact)
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire
