JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

The Lead Risk Management Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the execution and oversight of Entergy's vendor management protocols. This position involves the verification and auditing of security measures for third-party vendors and internal projects. The analyst conducts assessments, audits, and reviews of security and privacy control reports, evaluating the overall security posture across the organization, including vendor relationships. Additionally, they perform security evaluations and testing of system controls as needed.

The Lead Risk Management Analyst collaborates closely with various business units to monitor vendor review requests, compile vendor data, and report on the progress of these requests to management. They also assist the Chief Security Officer's department in enhancing employee awareness regarding security risks and protective measures for the company's critical infrastructure, data, and assets. This role is instrumental in achieving security control objectives aimed at mitigating risks from both existing and emerging vulnerabilities and threats across on-site, offshore, and cloud environments.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitors Vendor Assessment Review Requests and communicates updates to stakeholders Evaluates assessment reports against asset control objectives to assess effectiveness Conducts vendor risk assessments as required (including supply chain assessments) Reports on control testing through the Controls Dashboard Prepares comprehensive reports on vendor risk across the organization Provides guidance to ensure full understanding of VRM program requirements Presents findings on high-risk vendor contracts and procurement vulnerabilities to executive management Leads assessments of vendor risks, formulates mitigation strategies, and collaborates with internal stakeholders for monitoring responsibilities Partners with Business Units and internal support teams to ensure compliance with risk assessment and mitigation requirements Engages in data analytics and reporting activities, maintaining vendor risk reporting mechanisms and tracking outcomes from vendor management efforts Analyzes and refines procedures to continually enhance vendor risk management processes Stays updated on the latest trends and developments in vendor risk management MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education required for the position

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

Minimum experience required for the position

5+ years of experience in auditing, security testing, or risk management and analysis

3+ years of general IT experience

3+ years of experience in IT security or IT risk management

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position
