Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager to join our team in Magnolia, TX. As an HSE Manager, you will be responsible for providing management support and technical assistance for the administration of and compliance with our health, safety, and environmental program. This includes post-accident case management, workers' compensation, and ensuring the protection of the environment where we operate.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the business unit HSE management system
• Support and assist line management in implementing our HSE policies and mission
• Perform work site hazard assessments and provide recommendations for corrective action
• Provide support to manufacturing and equipment services operations to eliminate hazards
• Plan, implement, coordinate, and supervise HSE activities during facility maintenance and project activities
• Support the selection and coordination of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors involved in major maintenance, construction, remodeling, and project activities
• Conduct company safety and OSHA-mandated training classes and maintain records
• Participate in safety meetings and assist teams in implementing HSE risk management processes
• Manage and provide safety-related training, meetings, and seminars
• Provide support to incidents, environmental incidents, and regulatory issues
• Manage the inspection and maintenance of fire suppression equipment
• Maintain incident statistical data and regulatory required forms
• Manage the Canrig business unit workers' compensation program
• Act as a company HSE leader for the facility
• Conduct HSE audits and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a minimum of 5 years of HSE experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of quality management principles and practices. A valid driver's license and valid passport are required. Certification in occupational hygiene and safety, such as ASP or CSP, is desirable but not required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Subject matter expert-level knowledge of OSHA VPP compliance program
• Experience in managing industrial hygiene programs and supporting facilities maintenance and project work from an HSE perspective
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) is a plus
• Excellent computer, communication, and training skills
