The Role:
As the Transportation Logistics Analyst - Americas, reporting to the Sr. Delivery Service Manager - Americas, you will be responsible for supporting the Logistics team in managing costs and data across multiple processes, including customer shipments, stock transfer shipments, and 3rd party warehousing/storage. This will be achieved by managing different data elements used throughout the process, such as freight rates, transit time, lead times, warehouse/storage throughput costs, and serving as a resource to provide cost estimates to the Logistics team and the business.

You will be the focal point for coordinating freight pay and audit activities within SAP and across 3rd party systems, including data management, tolerances, and reporting capability.

Additionally, you will help identify freight recoverables, track, and recover.

Additional aspects of this role will be to provide invoice validations, ensure Logistics costs are processed via compliant procurement channels, project support, preparation of supplier assessments, and general administration.

Logistics Service Provider Invoice Audit & Pay

Work with internal and external parties to ensure payment of logistics services, including freight and 3rd party warehouse/storage charges.

Partner with the Logistics team to identify, track, report, and recover freight recoverables. Work with the carriers and freight pay and audit solution providers to onboard carriers, including invoicing requirements. Work with Procurement and Finance to create Purchase Orders to process logistics costs that cannot be processed through the freight pay and audit solutions (3rd party warehousing/storage
Transportation Logistics Support

Assist the Transportation Logistics team in providing quoting/pricing reports for assigned categories.

Serve as functional support of ad hoc logistics scheduling operations and execution, shipment tracking, and backup coverage for Logistics Coordinators/Analysts.

Work with the Data Analytics Manager to develop necessary reports to capture and report freight spend and develop freight reporting for pricing and contracts.

Provide additional reporting in support of the Transportation Logistics function, including providing local support to the Logistics Procurement Managers.

Support in project reporting and keeping action plans up-to-date.

Associates or Bachelors Degree (equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of degree)

SAP experience in Sales & Distribution, Logistics Execution, and Procurement

Strong user knowledge in MS-Outlook, MS-Excel, MS-Word, and SharePoint

Customer Service, Logistics, Supply Chain background is preferred

Familiar with process/data management
