Pulmonary Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Pulmonary Specialist to join our team at Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health. As a pulmonary specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care in our acute care hospital setting.

About the Job:
This position involves working as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients. Your expertise will be invaluable in assessing patient status, ordering diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans. You will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. As an experienced specialist, you will also serve as a first responder for both nursing and house staff in emergency situations.

Responsibilities:
- Assess patient status, order diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to make diagnoses and develop treatment plans
- Implement and modify patient care plans, incorporating evidenced-based practice guidelines and protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to ensure continuity of care across the continuum

Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
- National Board Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- BLS & ACLS certification
- Minimum one year APP experience in critical care

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $155,000 per annum
