Research Nurse Specialist for Pulmonary Studies

We are seeking a skilled Research Nurse Specialist to join our School of Medicine team, specializing in pulmonary diseases research studies. As a critical member of our clinical research team, you will be responsible for handling clinical visits for inpatient and outpatient trials, data entry, and administrative work.

The majority of your role will involve conducting EKGs and blood draws from patient volunteers. You will collaborate closely with our clinical research team to develop effective tools for monitoring and reporting trial accrual, and ensure timely study activation and submission of protocol amendments.

To qualify for this position, you must hold a PA RN License or compact license, possess at least 3 years of experience as a registered nurse (preferably in clinical research), and be certified in BLS/CPR. A background in Pulmonology or ICU is also highly desirable.

In addition to the required skills, having experience in pulmonary clinical trials and holding a CCRP certification would be considered a significant asset.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $85,000-$110,000 per annum, along with benefit packages that start on the 31st day of employment. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and access to a 401k retirement account with employer matching. You will also receive paid sick leave and other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
