About the Opportunity
Actalent, a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative to join our team. As a Patient Service Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring exceptional service and accurate information management for patients and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Answer calls, emails, and other requests from patients and healthcare providers, meeting or exceeding service level goals.
- High-Volume Call Handling: Handle high-volume calls that are auto-connected, providing accurate and timely information to patients and healthcare providers.
- Information Management: Accurately capture and update information in our systems, ensuring seamless communication and coordination between patients and healthcare providers.
- Medication Management: Provide availability, tracking, and shipping information for patients' medications as needed.
- Treatment Scheduling: Schedule treatments to be sent to patients or their healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Experience with medical and/or pharmaceutical terminology preferred. Experience handling high-volume calls required.
Work Environment
- Location: 100% onsite in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Hours: Three-week initial in-person training period required from 8:30am to 5pm M-F. After training, this position will work M-F from 10:30am to 7pm.
- Job Type: Desk job, primarily communicating with patients and providers over the phone.
