Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at SMF-Sutter Med Foundation-Central. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Competently perform radiology procedures to produce accurate and high-quality images.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental and corporate objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely results.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and policies to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and advancements.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • ARRT-American Register of Radiologic Technologist certification and evidence of application for CRT.
  • CA CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist certification.
  • Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
  • Radiology Fluoroscopy certification within 180 days of hire if required.
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • General knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
  • Experience responding to traumas and various hospital emergencies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills.
  • General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and related information systems.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position with a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay Range is $49.96 to $62.44 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
