Diagnostic Radiology Technologist Lead

At Corewell Health, we're committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of radiology. As a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist Lead, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality diagnostic exams are performed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform quality diagnostic exams, verifying patient identification and physician orders
  • Acquire accurate patient histories and document in medical records
  • Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and provide optimal care
  • Effectively communicate with customers, administrative staff, medical staff, and peers
  • Operate diagnostic imaging equipment, adhering to policy for malfunctions and quality control
  • Minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and self, adhering to ALARA standards
  • Provide procedural information and education to patients and families
  • Contribute to department operations, assisting fellow employees and maintaining quality assurance and control
Requirements:
  • Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program
  • Training gained at student level
  • CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
  • CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association or ARC American Red Cross
