Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in Roseville, California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform routine and specialized interventional radiology procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, as well as excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and specialized interventional radiology procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures to deliver accurate results in a timely manner.
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist.
  • ARRT - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
  • RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 Days of hire.
  • ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
  • One year of IR experience, including neuro-IR, preferred.
Preferred Experience:

Basic clinical and practical experience as typically acquired in a similar environment.

Skills and Knowledge:
  • General knowledge of interventional diagnostic principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
  • Capable of performing routine interventional examinations and basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and related information systems.

Pay Range is $60.11 to $73.28 / hour.

This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled.

Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.

Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
