Internship Opportunity

This is a bucket application for Rivian's 2025 internship programs. If you are selected, you will receive an invitation to interview for an open posting. Rivian internships are experiences optimized for student candidates. To be eligible, you must be an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited program during the internship term with an expected graduation date between December 2025-June 2027.

Responsibilities
  • Applying to this opening will place you into consideration of Rivian's 2025 internship programs.
  • Teams your application can be considered for include: Data Engineering, Software Engineering (Vehicle and Enterprise Technology), Data Analytics, Supply Chain and NPI (Operations), Data Analytics, Product Development (R&D), and various teams requiring data science, analytics, or data engineering skills.
Qualifications
  • Must be currently pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree.
  • Actively pursuing a degree or one closely related in Data Science, Data Analytics, Data and Machine Learning, Mechanical, Computer Science, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
  • Experience with extract, transform, load procedures, preferred.
  • Experience with SQL-based query construction, preferred.
  • Ability to leverage expertise in data gathering, analytical, and problem-solving work, required.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to a wide variety of problems, required.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits

The range of pay for internships is $25.00-$51.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on location, and other factors permitted by law. Rivian provides robust wellness benefits, and a medical insurance package for interns, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
