Position Overview

Children's Soccer Instructor (Ages 2-8)
Soccer Shots - Orange County is on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual who has a genuine love for teaching and engaging with young children. Our program introduces soccer to children aged 2-8 at various educational facilities throughout the region. We are currently seeking a dedicated instructor to facilitate sessions at multiple locations. This role offers fulfilling work with competitive compensation starting at $18 per session.


Role Responsibilities:

Classes are scheduled from Monday to Friday at preschools, with additional sessions on Saturday mornings at select parks. Each session lasts between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the age group. We provide comprehensive training, necessary coaching equipment, and all curriculum materials.


Compensation: Starting at $18 per session.


Availability Requirements:

We are prioritizing candidates who can commit to multiple sessions throughout the week, particularly for our afternoon classes on:
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday starting at 2:30 PM.


Essential Qualifications:
  • Availability for a minimum of three weekday afternoons (including Wednesday).
  • Saturday mornings from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
  • Must enjoy working with young children and create a fun, engaging environment.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Successful completion of a Child Abuse History Clearance and Background Check.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children.
  • CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Previous teaching or coaching experience, especially with children aged 2-8.

Salary: $18-$25 per class


Job Type: Part-time


Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent


Preferred Education: College education with a focus on Early Childhood Education (ECE Units)


Experience: Minimum of 1 year (12 ECE Units preferred)
