Job Title: Sourcing Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Manager to join our team at The Recruiting Pros. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for sourcing vendors domestically and internationally to secure raw materials, tooling, and MRO to support new product development and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain global relationships with sourcing partners, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Negotiate win-win supplier/vendor agreements to maximize quality and quantity.
  • Contribute to product development regarding supplier sourcing partnerships.
  • Leverage spend data to identify strategic sourcing opportunities and implement demand planning processes.
  • Participate in the research, development, and design of long-range strategic objectives for future operational improvements.
  • Develop and implement systems that measure, track, and analyze supplier performance and compliance to negotiated terms and conditions.
  • Guide and review relationships of Buyer/Planners with existing suppliers.
  • Manage RFQ process with new suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience sourcing a mix of components, hardware, fasteners, and/or textiles in a manufacturing environment.
  • 5+ years' experience managing complex projects from start to finish.
  • 3+ years' experience managing a team of direct reports.
  • 3+ years' experience using SAP and APICS related to supply chain, procurement, materials management, and inventory management.
  • Ability to balance costs, quality, lead-times, and reliability for all materials and services purchased.
  • Command of negotiation planning and executing of strategies.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using an MRP system - specifically SAP - and Microsoft Excel.
