Job Summary:

As a Clinical Nurse II on our Labor and Delivery OR team at UNC REX Healthcare, you will provide high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and documenting patient information.

Collaborate with the OB Hospitalist team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.

Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program and current RN licensure in North Carolina.

ACLS, BCLS, and NRP certifications required.

One year of experience as a licensed RN, preferably in a labor and delivery or obstetric setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
