Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled RN Clinical Nurse II to join our Labor and Delivery team at UNC Health Care. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including antepartum, labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing assistants, and surgical technicians to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in identifying and meeting learning needs of self and others, including attending education programs and using patient education materials.
  • Assess patient outcomes and seek guidance as needed to revise the plan of care.
  • Communicate relevant information to promote continuity of care and participate in interdisciplinary team discussions.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • NC RN licensure.
  • ACLS, BCLS, and NRP certifications.
  • One year of experience working as a licensed RN.
