Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at the Residence Inn Minneapolis Edina. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and service are maintained throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the housekeeping team to ensure efficient and effective delivery of housekeeping services.
  • Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Train and develop housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional service.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of assigned areas, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
  • Perform housekeeping, laundry, and houseperson functions as needed to ensure the hotel runs smoothly.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Previous housekeeping experience in the hospitality industry, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, management, and colleagues.
  • High school graduate or equivalent, with some college preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling requirements, and use of equipment.
