Housekeeping Coordinator Job Description

Hilton Worldwide is seeking a highly skilled Housekeeping Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Housekeeping department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispatching services and office support to the Housekeeping department to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
  • Answering incoming telephone calls, responding to guest and team member inquiries, and dispatching appropriate service in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Using and maintaining the work order system and/or property management system to log and record all service requests, initiate, dispatch, and close all work orders, and generate associated reports.
  • Ensuring vacant/ready rooms are available to the Front Office by coordinating with appropriate Housekeeping and Property Operation team members.
  • Performing additional general office duties, including processing paperwork, scheduling team members, assisting with daily attendance tracking, conducting inventory and equipment maintenance, and tracking guest comments and feedback, as needed.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, team members, and other departments.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
