Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at American Automobile Association. As a key member of our Member Experience team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our members, resolving technical and billing inquiries, and providing support for our life safety systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor life safety systems and handle general service, technical, and billing inquiries
  • Manage data information and initiate cancellation/retention activity
  • Act in a mentoring capacity as part of our career development program
  • Provide support for our members through various channels, including phone, email, and chat

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to listen effectively and respond empathetically
  • Strong desire to help customers
  • Ability to maintain composure when dealing with customer escalations and emergency alarm calls
  • Technical aptitude and proficiency with Windows applications
  • Ability to multitask while providing outstanding customer experience

Work Environment

Our team works in an office environment, sitting at a desk, table, or computer workstation for extended periods of time. Approximately 80 percent of the time spent on the job involves the use of a computer and telephone.
