About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Robotics Project Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team dedicated to designing robotic solutions for customer challenges. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing customer application information, performing engineering calculations, and designing and maintaining layouts and BOM of solution proposals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain updated layouts and BOM of solution proposals
  • Design and maintain end of arm tooling within budget and with high customer satisfaction
  • Generate fabrication drawings for designed parts
  • Generate assembly drawings and instructions
  • Order parts
  • Provide technical support for sales and quotes
  • Travel for pre-sales meetings, testing, acceptance, and support of Flexlink supplied systems
Requirements
  • 2D/3D modelling skills (Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor), Solidworks is a plus
  • Understanding of Finite Element Analysis is a plus
  • Basic pneumatics knowledge for component selection and sizing
  • Basic robotics functionality knowledge
  • Solid understanding of industrial design and fabrication techniques
  • Solid understanding of industrial machine safety (ANSI B11 and ANSI / RIA R15.06)
  • Fluent English, spoken and written
  • Mechanical Engineering/Technology degree (AS degree with equivalent/relevant experience is acceptable)
