Job Title: Propulsion Systems Engineer

ENSCO is seeking a highly skilled Propulsion Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Propulsion Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and integration of propulsion systems for aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement propulsion system designs that meet performance and safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate propulsion systems with other aircraft systems.
  • Conduct system analyses and testing to ensure propulsion system performance and reliability.
  • Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles to optimize propulsion system design and development.
  • Participate in the system engineering life cycle, including requirements development, architecture development, and system verification.
Qualifications:
  • 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field, or 3 years of experience with a Master's degree, or 0 years of experience with a PhD or Juris Doctorate.
  • Demonstrated skills in planning, implementing, and reporting on Systems Engineering activities on previous propulsion-related efforts.
  • Experience in a variety of aspects of aerospace design development processes, including design, analysis, testing, and integration.
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess a Secret security clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with MBSE tools, such as Cameo, Enterprise Architect, and/or Rhapsody.
  • Working knowledge of MATLAB, PYTHON, and other programming languages.
  • Knowledge of engine test facilities and capabilities available within the U.S. Air Force or industry.
  • High-Speed Airbreathing propulsion experience.
  • Solid rocket propulsion experience.
  • Multidisciplinary Design, Analysis, and Optimization experience.
