Job Overview

The Senior Systems Engineer is a key member of our team, responsible for leading the development of system architectures, defining system and product requirements, and creating innovative solutions. This role involves direct customer interaction, development of unique customer requirements, and collaboration with engineering teams to decompose complex problems into system performance specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Architecture and Design: Develop and lead the design and development of system architectures, including hardware, software, networks, and interfaces, to meet technical requirements and performance objectives.
  • Requirements Engineering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document system requirements, ensuring traceability and alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • System Integration and Testing: Coordinate and oversee the integration of system components, subsystems, and interfaces, including testing and validation activities to verify system functionality and performance.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure the reliability, robustness, and maintainability of system designs and implementations.
  • Configuration Management: Establish and maintain configuration management processes to control and track changes to system baselines, ensuring consistency and integrity across all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including system requirements specifications, design documents, test plans, and user manuals, in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 10 years of experience in systems engineering, with a demonstrated track record of leading successful system development projects from concept to delivery.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, methodologies, and best practices; proficiency in systems modeling and simulation tools, requirements management tools, and configuration management tools.
