Overview

Innovative Blood Resources is a nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting people in need of life-saving blood with generous volunteers who give. Our mission is to save and sustain lives through blood donation.

Responsibilities
  1. Assess and document donor vitals, ensuring eligibility and safety.
  2. Perform blood collections in accordance with policies and procedures.
  3. Follow safety protocols and provide excellent customer service.
  4. Assist with blood drive setup, including mobile unit loading and unloading.
  5. Perform cleaning tasks, including equipment maintenance.
  6. Ensure accurate and complete documentation to prevent unit loss.
  7. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Willingness to work varied shifts and schedules.
  • Preferred: Specialized training beyond high school, such as phlebotomy or medical assisting.
