POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional individual to manage vehicle title documentation and related administrative tasks within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate, analyze, and distribute reports as requested by management.
- Respond to incoming inquiries from dealership representatives and customers regarding title processing.
- Ensure timely completion of month-end responsibilities and tasks.
- Gather and organize DMV paperwork for vehicle transactions.
- Process titles for both new and pre-owned vehicles.
- Maintain daily logs using the DMVDESK system to meet due dates.
- Handle wholesale transactions and send title documentation to buyers or auction houses.
- Conduct weekly reconciliations of title records.
- Keep accurate records of pending title transfers and document progress.
- Review and verify vehicle title paperwork and ownership documents for accuracy.
- Post and reconcile DMV invoices.
- Manage DMV schedules effectively.
- Process lien sales as required.
- Review DMV logs to ensure all records are cleared and updated.
- Maintain a professional appearance and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Dependable and professional demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive documents with confidentiality.
- Friendly attitude and willingness to assist others.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in DMV operations and office environments.
- Proficient in computer applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in the automotive industry is essential.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Timekeeping Expectations:
- This role requires clocking in and out for each shift, with a minimum of 30 minutes unpaid meal break before the 5th hour of work. Additional breaks are mandated for shifts exceeding 12 hours.
Physical Requirements:
This position operates within a dealership environment, requiring occasional physical activities such as reaching, bending, and lifting objects over 20 lbs. Exposure to various environmental conditions, including fumes and noise, is expected. Protective equipment may be necessary at times. Visual acuity is required to ensure the accuracy of work performed.
