Qualifications:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Preferred cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, with a strong grasp of cloud computing principles.
  • Typically, 8+ years of experience in IT, particularly in application development or integration services development, including experience in:

    Web application development

    Database management, data modeling, and stored procedures

    ETL processes and data transformation/integration.
Industry / Domain Experience Required:
  • 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams focused on software delivery, with experience in global team collaboration being advantageous.
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in healthcare or a related field.
  • Exceptional ability to develop and build teams by identifying quality talent and inspiring others.
  • Proven strategic thinker capable of successfully partnering in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, R, Ruby, Perl, etc.
  • Familiarity with web development frameworks like React, Angular, Vue, etc.
  • Experience with data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake) and managing large datasets.
  • Expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and database management systems.
  • Experience in architecting enterprise-class, cloud-based systems with a background in application development, including mobile technologies, web services, and backend application infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering software engineering initiatives and cross-functional IT/business projects.
  • Applied knowledge of software engineering methodologies, including automation and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience in scalability and performance optimization.
  • Ability to scope complex projects and drive them to completion while identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
