Job Summary

This is a Full Time Day shift position Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm.

Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the clinical management of stroke patient population across the entire continuum of care.
  • Serve as a leader for the stroke program performance improvement initiative.
  • Act as a clinical resource/role model for all areas caring for stroke patients.
  • Provide and/or coordinate educational activities for both staff and patients.
  • Act as a community liaison on behalf of the program and hospital.
Requirements
  • BSN required, MSN preferred.
  • Current RN license in the State of TX or compact license.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive health care experience, within the last 5 years. Must have experience in ED, neuro, or quality.
  • Recent experience in stroke outcomes research and intervention is desirable.
