IT Support Specialist

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for desktop computers, laptop computers, mobile devices, and peripheral devices. The successful candidate will have considerable knowledge of personal computers, software, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, upgrade, and document all hardware and software.
  • Support multiple conference room audio/visual technologies.
  • Assist in the administration of physical security systems, network servers and infrastructure, and the desktop phone system.
  • Respond to user questions and problems through the Service Desk process.
  • Train personnel in the use of equipment and software.

Requirements:

  • Considerable knowledge of personal computers, software, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect and configure computers and peripherals in a network environment.
  • Knowledge and experience with Active Directory, group policies, and administration of a variety of software including Windows 10/11, M365, Adobe, and Autodesk products.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and establish effective working relationships with users.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • degree in computer Information Science or a related field.
