We are seeking a highly skilled Project Accountant to join our team in Watertown, MA. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting, project management, and software implementation.

Job Description:

The Project Accountant will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and be responsible for overseeing all financial operations related to projects, including cash management, accounts payable, contract billings, and job cost reporting. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Transitioning from the current CFA Data system to Viewpoint Spectrum
  • Maintaining project and general ledger accounting in Viewpoint Spectrum
  • Consolidating outside divisions into a central accounting process
  • Managing project-related records, including contracts and change orders

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Construction Management, or Engineering, with excellent communication and analytical skills. A minimum of three years of experience in project accounting is required, with knowledge of Viewpoint Spectrum software.
