We are seeking an experienced Metalcraft Specialist to join our team.

About the Job

The successful candidate will work on various projects, including custom fabrication and assembly of metal components.

Responsibilities:

  1. Blueprint Reading and Design Interpretation: The Metalcraft Specialist will interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, or design specifications to create metal structures.
  2. Material Selection: Selecting the right type and grade of metal for each project based on requirements.
  3. Cutting and Shaping: Using tools and equipment to cut and shape metal components according to design specifications.
  4. Welding Techniques: Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and stick welding.
  5. Welding Equipment Operation: Operating welding equipment, such as welding machines, torches, and electrodes.
  6. Assembly and Fitting: Assembling and fitting cut and shaped metal pieces together accurately.
  7. Weld Quality and Inspection: Ensuring weld quality and inspecting work visually or using non-destructive testing methods.
  8. Grinding and Finishing: Grinding and smoothing welded joints to achieve a seamless appearance.
  9. Custom Fabrication: Working on custom projects requiring creativity and problem-solving skills.
  10. Safety and Compliance: Following safety protocols, wearing protective gear, and adhering to industry regulations and standards.

Required Skills:
