Patient Placement Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Patient Placement Specialist to join our team in the Austin and Round Rock markets. In this role, you will be responsible for driving admissions to meet or exceed monthly expectations.
About the Role
The Patient Placement Specialist will be the primary point of contact for designated physicians, healthcare facilities, third-party payors, case management professionals, and other healthcare organizations for the placement of patients requiring long-term acute care (LTACH) level of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to increase patient admissions and meet or exceed monthly targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, healthcare facilities, and insurance providers
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on LTACH services and benefits
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient resource allocation
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and patient demographics to inform business development strategies
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in critical care, med/surg, or sales and marketing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive business decisions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., nursing, business, healthcare administration)
