About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team in Huntersville, NC.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. They will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive exceptional service and support during their visits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome patients by greeting them and answering inquiries.
  • Prepare patients for health care visits by directing and/or accompanying them to the examining room.
  • Verify patient information by interviewing patient and reviewing medical history.
  • Support patient care delivery by helping healthcare providers during examinations.
  • Educate patients by providing medication information and instructions.
  • Complete records by recording patient examination, treatment, and test results.
  • Assist in the revenue cycle by recording billing information of services rendered.
Requirements
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in primary care or family medicine, preferably with infectious disease experience.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of $21-25 per hour, paid full-time schedule (40 hours), Friday afternoon off, and benefits package including major medical, dental, vision, and 401k.
