Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Novant Health.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and assist the provider in ensuring safe, quality, and cost-effective care for patients.
  • Maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams, and contribute to a positive patient experience.
  • Prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and demonstrate excellent time management skills.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED, required. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program with certification/registry within 6 months of hire.
  • 1+ year of experience in a medical office setting, preferred. Ability to obtain certification/registry as CMA, RMA, or CCMA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Compensation and Benefits

Estimated salary range: $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
