Job Overview

Core Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily financial operations, encompassing month-end and year-end activities, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, budgeting, and more.
  • Guarantee precision and quality in financial transactions and reporting.
  • Enhance and refine business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
  • Lead the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing and reporting discrepancies.
  • Oversee regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with governmental standards.
  • Employ Yardi software for streamlined accounting practices.
  • Collaborate with senior management on financial strategies and decisions.
  • Engage in significant executive team discussions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; a Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of managerial accounting experience, ideally within the real estate sector.
  • Proficiency in Yardi software is essential.
  • Strong grasp of GAAP principles.
  • Knowledge of accounting best practices, laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent skills in MS Office and accounting software.
  • Aptitude for working with extensive data sets.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
