Full Time - Field Reporting Specialist

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for collecting images and information regarding homes and businesses. The Field Reporting Specialist will interact with policyholders, insurance agency personnel, and coworkers while maintaining a polite, professional manner and appearance.

The position uses their own, personal vehicle, personal computer, and smartphone to obtain these images and information. Most of the workday will be spent outdoors collecting photos and information, with the remainder of the workday being spent in the Field Rep's home office.

Some overnight travel may be required. The position is best suited for those who are goal-oriented, self-starters with good time management skills and do not require close supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect images and information regarding homes and businesses
  • Interact with policyholders, insurance agency personnel, and coworkers
  • Maintain a polite, professional manner and appearance
  • Use personal vehicle, personal computer, and smartphone to obtain images and information
  • Work outdoors collecting photos and information, with remainder of workday spent in home office
  • May require overnight travel

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with personal computer
  • Proficiency with smartphone
  • Proficiency with GPS or mapping tool
  • Good organizational skills
  • Consistently meet service, quality, and production expectations

Physical Requirements:

  • Be physically fit and able to drive, walk, stand, and sit for long periods of time
  • Have good balance, being able to walk up/down inclines and across uneven ground

Other Requirements:

  • Dependable vehicle with valid insurance
  • Personal computer with internet service
  • Mobile smartphone
  • Mobile device compatible with Reliable Report's Android-based mobile application
  • Be in compliance with employee handbook and company policies and procedures

Grooming Requirements:

  • Hair must be a natural color and kept neatly groomed at all times
  • Braids, cornrows, and dreadlocks may be worn as long as the style is conservative, they lie snugly on the head, and are neat in appearance
  • Men's hair must not be longer than the bottom of collar
  • Mohawks and spiked hair are prohibited
  • Men may not have ponytails
  • Facial hair may not be more than 1/2 inch long at the bottom and the area under the chin must be shaved
  • Sideburns must not extend beyond the ear lobe or into the face
  • All skin surrounding any facial hair must always be clean-shaven
