Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary package for this role, with an estimated annual base salary range of $42,100 to $69,500. In addition to this, employees are eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards and comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and wellness programs.

Job DescriptionRole Summary

This Auto Claim Resolution Specialist position is part of our formal training program to advance to an Auto claim representative position. The ideal candidate will develop skills in investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving claims on losses of lesser value and complexity.

The successful candidate will provide quality claim handling throughout the claim life cycle, including customer contacts, coverage analysis, investigation, evaluation, reserving, negotiation, and resolution. They will work closely with Unit Managers or mentors to promptly resolve assigned claims and maintain full compliance with internal and external quality standards and state-specific regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete required training program, which includes online, virtual, classroom, and on-the-job training.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions for the inside auto business.
  • Work closely with Unit Manager or mentor to promptly resolve assigned claim.
  • Deliver consistent service quality throughout the claim life cycle.
  • Analyze coverage and apply policy conditions, provisions, exclusions, and endorsements for Auto Damage only claims.
  • Investigate each claim to obtain relevant facts necessary to determine coverage, causation, extent of liability, damages, contribution potential, and exposure.
  • Determine settlement amounts based upon appraisal estimate, negotiate, and convey claim settlements within authority limits to insureds and claimants.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or a minimum of 2 years of work or customer service-related experience.
  • Demonstrated ownership attitude and customer-centric response to all assigned tasks.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail ensuring accuracy.
  • Keyboard skills and Windows proficiency, including Excel and Word.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
