Position Overview:

We are looking for an Industrial Maintenance Leader to join our management team at our manufacturing facility. This individual will work during the day shift to oversee daily maintenance operations and manage a team of up to 36 technicians. The facility operates continuously, and this role requires flexibility to be on call as necessary.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a part of the Maintenance leadership team overseeing technical operations within the plant, focusing on production line maintenance, processing equipment upkeep, and utility equipment management.
  • Assist in leading the preventative maintenance program, defining processes, driving enhancements, and achieving key performance indicators.
  • Mentor and develop frontline employees to meet current and future operational needs.
  • Facilitate change initiatives and continuous improvement projects, including the establishment of a LEAN manufacturing environment.
  • Model and uphold our core beliefs in daily work activities and decision-making.
  • Foster relationships with frontline team members to cultivate a positive work atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with internal customers, suppliers, colleagues, and support services to ensure target achievements.
  • Comprehend and comply with internal and external regulations, procedures, and policies.
  • Maintain cleanliness to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Effectively communicate safety, quality, technical, and training issues to the team.
  • Assess daily maintenance effectiveness to identify improvement opportunities and collaborate with the Operations team for resolutions.
  • Ensure the development and execution of action plans to address root causes of equipment failures.
Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least two years in a leadership role.
  • Previous experience in a beverage, food, consumer packaged goods, or other clean manufacturing environment, with knowledge of quality, GMP, and hygiene regulations preferred.
  • Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and PLC control systems.
  • Understanding of preventative maintenance programs and financial aspects related to maintenance.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Suite applications and business management software (SAP preferred).
  • Knowledge of production processes, technical troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Experience in continuous improvement or process enhancement, with prior Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to facilitate change.
  • Excellent time management, delegation, and organizational skills, coupled with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build relationships with business partners and lead, coach, and develop employees.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, with the capability to provide on-call support.
