As a Maintenance Operations Leader, you will play a crucial role in shaping our business, collaborating with a supportive team, and contributing to sustainable practices that you can genuinely take pride in.

This position involves overseeing daily maintenance operations and leading a team of up to 36 skilled mechanics on a day shift. Flexibility for on-call duties is essential, as our facility operates around the clock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preventative maintenance strategy, establishing processes, driving enhancements, and meeting key performance indicators.
  • Facilitate change initiatives and continuous improvement projects, fostering a LEAN manufacturing culture.
  • Build strong relationships with frontline team members to cultivate a positive workplace atmosphere.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, procedures, and policies.
  • Communicate effectively regarding safety, quality, technical, and training matters with the team.
  • Analyze daily maintenance performance to identify improvement opportunities and collaborate with the Operations team for resolutions.
  • Develop and implement action plans to address the root causes of equipment failures.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least two years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in beverage, food, consumer packaged goods, or other clean manufacturing environments, with knowledge of quality, GMP, and hygiene standards preferred.
  • Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and PLC control systems.
  • Understanding of preventative maintenance programs and financial aspects related to maintenance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications and business management software (SAP preferred).
  • Knowledge of production processes, technical troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience in continuous improvement or process enhancement, with prior TPM experience preferred.
  • Strong time management, delegation, and organizational skills, along with effective problem-solving abilities.
