Job Overview

We are currently looking for an

Operations Manager

to become a vital part of our team at BlueTriton Brands.

Key Responsibilities:
- Report to the Plant Manager and act as a crucial member of the leadership team in a large bottling and distribution facility.
- Collaborate across functions with Planning, Quality, Container Manufacturing, Maintenance, and the Warehouse to optimize efficiencies and output of high-quality products safely.

- Drive the implementation of cultural changes and initiatives necessary to support the pursuit of world-class Continuous Improvement Leaders (CILs) and Planned Maintenance (PM) activities.

- Lead productive go-see-think-do activities.
- Coach, mentor, and develop leaders while assessing and creating plans to enhance the skills and competencies of frontline employees to meet current and future business needs.
- Ensure that planned efficiency and production targets are met or exceeded to fulfill customer demand promptly.
- Monitor and track planned downtime hours and collaborate with Quality and Maintenance to minimize downtime while maximizing its strategic use.
- Ensure that preventative maintenance of production lines is completed to standard.
- Maintain complete compliance with prescribed Safety, Quality, and HR policies, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Food Safety Management System (FSMS) requirements.
- Facilitate the application of continuous improvement methodologies and projects to enhance and streamline production processes.
- Participate in projects such as workforce planning, budgeting, new product launches, and equipment installations or upgrades.
- Engage in audit activities and ongoing efforts to ensure compliance with internal and external standards, including ISO.

Qualifications:

Essential qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Five or more years of production experience in a leadership role.

- Previous experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector or food and beverage industry, with familiarity with quality and hygiene regulations preferred.

- Knowledge and exposure to Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Six Sigma, and various problem-solving methodologies.
- Strong understanding of production processes, preventative maintenance, and budget management.
- Proficient computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, business management software (SAP preferred), and production monitoring systems (EIT preferred).
- Proven track record of leading, training, motivating, coaching, and developing individuals and teams in alignment with our culture.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate internally and externally to achieve results.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives under tight deadlines and delegate effectively.
- Strong communication skills with the capacity to influence change and inspire action.
- Solid problem-solving abilities with the capability to coach and mentor others in this area.
- Willingness to respond to after-hours calls for critical issues and provide weekend coverage occasionally.
- Ability to travel within the U.S. or Canada occasionally (5%) for meetings.
