In the Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) division, we are dedicated to delivering next-generation detection and countermeasure technologies, enhancing electronic warfare capabilities to ensure mission success.

Role Responsibilities
As a Modeling & Simulation Engineer, you will engage in interdisciplinary research across integrated product teams, including Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC), Signal Processing, Electronic Warfare, and missile-and-sensor-level Performance Simulations.

Your responsibilities will include the development and enhancement of high-fidelity performance simulations that encompass multiple sensor channels, scene generation capabilities, virtual hardware control, environmental modeling, interference analysis, and system performance evaluations, including pre-flight predictions and post-flight assessments.

You will conduct missile performance analyses, focusing on model development, system optimization, and Monte Carlo assessments to predict missile behavior.

Key Functions
- Development of advanced simulation models
- Comprehensive analysis of missile performance through simulations, laboratory tests, and flight evaluations
- Leadership of small teams and specific project initiatives
- Review and critique of work produced by junior and peer engineers

Qualifications
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field, along with twelve (12) years or more of documented experience in:
- Designing and analyzing high-fidelity performance simulations
- Programming in C, C++, or other high-level languages, utilizing tools for data evaluation on UNIX/Linux platforms
- Providing engineering expertise in program design reviews and technical briefings for stakeholders
- Authorship of intellectual property and publications in modeling and simulation within the last decade
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is mandatory. U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the above, candidates with experience in the following areas will be favored:
- Advanced design and analysis of high-fidelity performance simulations
- Proficiency in programming and data evaluation tools
- Experience in delivering technical briefings and participating in project reviews
- Contributions to intellectual property and publications in relevant technical fields

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $239,140
