The Senior Automotive Service Technician plays a crucial role in accurately diagnosing and repairing vehicles while following the established protocols and standards set forth by the dealership, manufacturers, and Jeff's Auto Repair.
COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
$105,000-$150,000/year - VARIES BASED ON EXPERIENCE - Sign-On Bonus available up to $5000
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnoses vehicles based on the appropriate level of certifications and experience.
Completes work as specified on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with precision and efficiency.
Communicates technical diagnoses and necessary repairs to non-technical individuals, which may include the Store Manager, Service Consultants, and/or customers.
Advises on essential services to maintain the vehicle's optimal performance; accurately documents all recommendations in the customer file.
Adheres to all safety protocols and reports any issues to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.Maintains relevant ASE certifications and ensures timely renewal of any expiring credentials.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong diagnostic skills
Preferred minimum of one unexpired ASE certification or equivalent experience/training
Valid driver's license required, or must obtain within 30 days of hire
Availability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturdays
