Join Our Team as an Experienced Automotive Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Carter Motors. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership procedures
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
Requirements:
  • ASE certifications are preferred
  • Tools are required
  • Must be able to drive a manual transmission
  • Strong automotive background is preferred
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • WA state driver's license is required
  • Clean & Clear WA state driving record is required
  • Pre-employment background check, reference check & drug screen is required
