Medical Technologist Role at TLC Nursing Associates Inc

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Technologist to join our laboratory team.

The successful candidate will conduct various laboratory tests across multiple disciplines, adhering to established protocols and quality standards. They will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results.

In this role, you will analyze and interpret test results, correlating findings with clinical data to support physicians in making informed diagnostic and treatment decisions.

You will operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring it is calibrated and functioning correctly.

A key aspect of the position is maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of laboratory procedures, test results, and quality control data in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with pathologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide timely and effective laboratory services.

This opportunity also involves mentoring and training new laboratory staff and students, ensuring they adhere to laboratory policies and procedures.

To succeed in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field; graduates from an accredited program are preferred. Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent is required.

The estimated salary for this position is $62,500 per year, based on national averages for Medical Technologists in the United States.
