The primary role of the Sales Merchandising Supervisor involves overseeing and nurturing the development of assigned team members to boost sales and fulfill client and retailer expectations. This position also entails ensuring project completion, maintaining stock levels, and facilitating effective communication within stores. Success in this role is demonstrated through effective selling techniques and educating both customers and store staff about our product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish strong relationships through daily interactions with store personnel and management.
  • Train, mentor, and enhance the skills of Sales Merchandisers and seasonal associates.
  • Inform customers and store staff about the advantages and features of our products.
  • Ensure high-quality work and accuracy in all store areas to meet client standards.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of company policies.
  • Report successes and potential challenges to the Market Sales Manager.
  • Utilize handheld devices effectively and consistently.
  • Uphold confidentiality regarding company, client, and retailer information.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs, with frequent lifting of up to 35 lbs, and the capacity to lift heavier items with assistance.
  • Willingness to perform tasks while sitting, standing, or walking.
  • Physical capability for fine manipulation, bending, twisting, squatting, and climbing.
  • Comfortable with electronic and technical products.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of independence.
  • Availability for a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license necessary for potential travel.
  • Automobile liability insurance must be maintained.
  • Access to a computer, printing capabilities, internet, and email is required.
  • Prior customer service or sales experience is essential.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. is required.

Compensation:

$18.00 per hour
