Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual Loan Processor to join our team at Triad Financial Services, Inc. NMLS #1063. As a key member of our Chattel Operations department, you will be responsible for processing loans from approval to clear to close, working closely with a Loan Officer and directing a Mortgage Loan Coordinator to assist with services needed on loans in process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process loans from approval to clear to close, ensuring all required documents are received and reviewed prior to underwriting.
  • Direct a Mortgage Loan Coordinator to assist with services needed on loans in process, including sending out new approvals to borrowers with detailed lists of additional documents needed.
  • Review documents received from borrowers to ensure they are sufficient to clear conditions prior to submitting to underwriting.
  • Organize the title package, appraisal, and borrower conditions within the file for underwriting review.
  • Update fees and properly re-disclose the file.
  • Ensure all required documents are received in the file prior to clear to close review by underwriting.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • At least 2-3 years of professional office environment experience, preferably as an administrative or mortgage assistant in a bilingual environment.
  • Possess an understanding of different loan products, such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/fixed, etc. and be able to discuss them in Spanish.
  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented with excellent customer service and communication skills, both written & verbal in English & Spanish.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a loan pipeline and associated incoming work to meet expected turn times.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products and ability to quickly gain proficiency in the company's proprietary mortgage software products.
