Job Title: Director of Accounting

Quatrro Business Support Services is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to lead our finance team. As the Director of Accounting, you will oversee the end-to-end accounting processes for multiple nonprofit clients, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements, coaching, and counseling to stakeholders and operations managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality financial statements and analysis to support business decisions
  • Lead budget processes and incorporate periodic analytics to drive business growth
  • Work closely with clients to resolve complex financial statement issues and provide financial guidance
  • Monitor finances to ensure clients operate within guidelines and provide financial analysis and advice
  • Develop and implement best practices to improve client business execution
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide consultative support on all financial services
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to cross-functional teams aligned to client delivery processes
  • Address client concerns and issues to ensure prompt resolution and high client satisfaction

Requirements:

  • 4-year degree in accounting, finance, or business with an accounting/finance focus (or equivalent knowledge/experience)
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting and finance
  • Minimum 4 years of Controller experience
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
  • Demonstrated people management experience and success leading a team of direct reports, with a focus on coaching and developing Senior Accountants and Accounting Managers
  • Advanced knowledge of federal and state tax laws
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and functions in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of industry-specific accounting software and advanced Excel skills
  • Deep understanding of accounting principles and processes
  • Experienced in creating processes and efficiencies to create an operational Center of Excellence
  • Strong business acumen, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated success working collaboratively and building relationships with key stakeholders and C-level executives
