Regional Sales Director Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Regional Sales Director to lead our Central Enterprise Sales team at Nutanix. In this role, you will report directly to the VP of Midwest Enterprise Sales and be responsible for managing a team of seasoned Account Managers focused on enterprise accounts throughout the Central Enterprise Region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of highly-skilled Account Managers in achieving sales targets and revenue growth.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business results.
- Collaborate with sales engineering teams to design and recommend customer solutions based on Nutanix offerings.
- Own regional sales numbers, revenue targets, and sales projections.
- Work closely with new and established channel partners to generate new business opportunities.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of high-level management experience with 7 or more direct reports in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Extensive rolodex with validated experience in interviewing, hiring, and building high-performance sales teams.
- Minimum of 7 years in quota-carrying sales role with demonstrated achievement.
- Confirmed ability to work effectively with and across all levels of business and IT contacts within large and complex organizations.
